Vivian is a contract licensed independent social worker and contract licensed chemical dependency counselor with the training to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental, emotional and addiction disorders. She received her master's degree in social work from The Ohio State University. Vivian provides contract mental health therapy services at Providers for Healthy Living. Additionally, Vivian is employed by the Department of Defense as the Director of Psychological Health in Mansfield, Ohio. Vivian is also an adjunct faculty member at NC State College in the Human Service Program and at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in the Social Work Program. Previously, Vivian was the Adult Program Director at the local mental health agency. Vivian's clinical strengths include working with individuals and families to address mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addictions, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, and grief. Vivian enjoys using cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, Gestalt therapy and crisis intervention. Vivian is also certified in crisis intervention.
