Nicholas is a licensed independent social worker with the training to diagnose and treat a wide range of disorders using individual, family, and group interventions. Nicholas received his master’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University. He provided individual, family, and group interventions in correctional settings, worked as a crisis clinician, and was a patient care coordinator at a local psychiatric hospital prior to coming to Providers for Healthy Living. His clinical strengths include providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy strategies to help his patients improve mood disorders, anxiety, substance use, emotional dysregulation, and interpersonal conflicts.
