Meredith is a licensed professional clinical counselor trained to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental and emotional disorders using individual, family, and group interventions. She received her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Marshall University. Before joining Providers for Healthy Living, Meredith was a mental health therapist at a behavioral health center in North Carolina where she provided individual and family therapy. Meredith has experience doing school-based mental health and general outpatient therapy, has completed advanced training in maternal mental health, and is a certified trauma practitioner. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. She uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, trauma-informed treatments, and solution-focused therapy when working with patients. When not at work, Meredith enjoys photography, spending time with family and friends, and creative endeavors.
