Kelsey is a contract licensed independent social worker with the training to diagnose and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral disorders. She received her master's degree in social work and marriage and family therapy from University of Louisville. Kelsey provides contract mental health therapy services at Providers for Healthy Living. Additionally, Kelsey is employed by PrimaryOne Health as a behavioral health counselor. Previously, Kelsey was a behavioral health therapist in an intensive outpatient setting, a utilization reviewer for an insurance company, a clinical specialist in a female residential program, and a resident counselor for teen girls with behavioral and emotional problems. Kelsey's clinical strengths include working with couples and families, as well as children and adolescents dealing with depression and anxiety. Kelsey is trained in DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) and is a certified juvenile sexual offender counselor.
